The Dunrig Mòr Dining Table

A 150cm table is the minimum size we do in this style and the proportions look great on these larger sizes. The table in the photos is a 210cm x 7 boards in Pointing with a Rustic finish.

Our tables are built in our workshop in Selkirk by passionate and experienced makers. We only build a few tables each week and spend many hours on each one ensuring real attention to detail and the finest quality. The bases are hand painted in several coats of Farrow & Ball Estate Eggshell to give a smooth period colour finish that is easily cleaned and hardwearing. This table has lots of character that comes from reclaimed wood including natural blemishes, knots and splits*. Our tables are made from natural materials (not engineered wood like MDF or veneered panels) so each one is different and you must keep this in mind when considering a purchase. They are smooth to the touch and are ready for every day use with a light Natural, mid Contemporary or darker Rustic hard wax oil finish. *If you are looking for a table with less character and a straight grain pattern then please look at our oak table tops which we can make in the Dunrig Mòr style too.

Custom Colour – you can choose a custom colour by selecting this option in the dropdown list below and then we will contact you via email to confirm the colour you want. A custom colour can be any Farrow & Ball colour or another paint manufacturer if required. We can even colour match a paint if you can supply us with a sample to scan.

Drawer Upgrade – We can fit a drawer to the end of your table or both ends. We can also add a drawer to the side of your table. Drawers can be added to your order by choosing the relevant option in the ‘Drawer’ product in our shop or at the basket step.

Linglie Mòr Version – we can also make a straight leg version of this table with thicker 115mm legs (the standard Linglie legs are 90mm). Prices are the same as the During Mòr, call or email us to order.

Corners – our table tops come with a slight bevel on the corners and edges as standard. We can round the corners further is desired. This if free of charge and can be specified after ordering when we email you a confirmation.

Delivery:

We complete most deliveries ourselves using our own van and 2 person team. We will carry items into your home and set them up in the desired room. Delivery fees can be seen at the checkout.

Tables with turned legs are detachable for easy manoeuvring. Tables with straight or tapered legs are permanent* therefore when choosing your style please make sure your table will be able to fit through doorways and around corners into your room of choice.

*We can build a straight or tapered leg frame that can be disassembled so get in touch if you want to explore this option.
