DELIVERY INFORMATION

Our delivery service

We are not a delivery company but delivering the furniture we have made for you is part of the service we offer. We use our own van for deliveries in Scotland and a furniture delivery specialist for longer distances. To keep our delivery rates to an acceptable cost we plan delivery runs in a geographic area and do several in a day. We will usually advise you of the delivery day and time slot a week in advance to allow you time to arrange to be available to accept delivery. If you are unable to accept delivery at our first attempt then we will include you in our next delivery run in your area but this will delay delivery. If you would like us to just come to you at a date and time to suit then this can be arranged but at considerably more than the prices quoted below.

What are your delivery rates and what is included?

Our standard delivery provides a 1 person service where we will require assistance from you to get the table into your home. We do offer a 2 person premium service where, unless otherwise advised, we will not require assistance during delivery. Both services cover delivery to the ground floor only. Please make sure you advise us when ordering if you are on an upper floor or if access/parking is difficult as it allows us to accurately time our delivery runs if we know beforehand. If upon arrival we feel we are being asked to undertake a delivery that puts us or your furniture at risk we reserve the right to offer a kerbside only service.

How long will my order take?

Our standard time frame at the moment (last updated 29/1/24) is 4-6 weeks from the day of ordering to the day of delivery. This can vary at certain times of the year and we will always aim to advise you when you are ordering if it will be any longer.

Who will deliver my order?

In most cases deliveries are carried out in house by our own staff using our own van but for longer distances (see above for more details) we use our trusted delivery partner. We may require help with very large tables but this will be discussed with you at the time of order.

Most deliveries are done Monday to Friday during daytime hours. We try to be as flexible as possible to accommodate your needs, but we appreciate your help with allowing us to schedule our delivery routes efficiently. It is always our intention to provide you with a 1-hour time slot for your delivery. There are occasions that due to unforeseen circumstances, such as traffic delays and access issues with deliveries, we are delayed in attending your delivery timeslot, we apologise if that is the case and will always endeavour to provide warning as early as possible.

Will my table come fully assembled?

Turned leg dining tables come with the legs detached. These screw in on long metal dowels, no tools required. All other items come fully assembled. Please be aware it is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate space to allow for large fixed legs tables to get to your chosen room.

Reporting Damage

In the extremely rare event that an item is damaged during delivery we require notification of this within 5 working days from date of delivery. Beyond this timeframe a charge may be applied to collect, repair and re-deliver any damaged item(s).
