The Linglie Dining Set

The sizes shown on the site are our standard builds but we can make a table any length up to 300cm, so if you want a 185cm x 95cm table, for example, just email or call us on 01750 725870 and we can process your order that way.

Our tables are built in our workshop in Selkirk by passionate and experienced makers. We only build a few tables each week and spend many hours on each one ensuring real attention to detail and the finest quality. The bases are hand painted in several coats of Farrow & Ball Estate Eggshell to give a smooth period colour finish that is easily cleaned and hardwearing. This dining set has lots of character that comes from pine including natural blemishes, knots and splits*. Our tables  and benches are made from natural materials (not engineered wood like MDF or veneered panels) so each one is different and you must keep this in mind when considering a purchase. They are smooth to the touch and are ready for every day use with a light Natural, mid Contemporary or darker Rustic hard wax oil finish. *If you are looking for a dining set with less character and a straight grain pattern then please look at our oak table tops which we can make in the Linglie style too.

Width Upgrade – Tables come in 6 board widths as standard (approx 88cm – 90cm) and are 77cm in height. Get in touch if you would like a narrower or wider table (in increments of approx 20cm – 21cm) or look for the ‘Width Upgrade’ item in the shop or shopping cart and add the desired option to your order.

Drawer Upgrade – We can fit a drawer to the end of your table or both ends. We can also add a drawer to the side of your table. Drawers can be added to your order by choosing the relevant option in the ‘Drawer’ product in our shop or at the shopping cart step.

Corners – our table and bench tops come with a slight bevel on the corners and edges as standard. We can round the corners further if desired. This is free of charge and can be specified after ordering as we will email you a confirmation.

Delivery:

We complete most deliveries ourselves using our own van and 2 person team. We will carry items into your home and set them up in the desired room. Delivery fees can be seen at the checkout.

Tables with turned legs are detachable for easy manoeuvring. Tables with straight or tapered legs are permanent* therefore when choosing your style please make sure your table will be able to fit through doorways and around corners into your room of choice.

*We can build a straight or tapered leg frame that can be disassembled so get in touch if you want to explore this option.
