Dining table with a Spruce top (approx. 50mm thick) and metal pedestal base. All handmade in the Scottish Borders. Ideal for built in seating or where a smaller footprint is required for a large table. The base for this table is made by hand just a few miles from our workshop and is sized to go with the dimensions of the table top. It features 70x70mm heavy gauge steel and can be painted in satin black or any Farrow & Ball colour (whites and light colours will incur an additional charge).
This table has lots of character that comes from using Scots Pine including natural blemishes, knots and splits*. They are smooth to the touch and are ready for every day use with a light Natural, mid Contemporary or darker Rustic wax finish. *If you are looking for a table with less character and a more uniform grain pattern then please look at our oak table tops which we can make in the Quair style too.
Size: comes in 6 boards (88-90cm), 7 boards (103-105cm) or 8 boards (118-120cm) wide. The height from floor to table top is 77cm.
Finish – The top is finished with polyx-oil in any of our three shades, see the colour options page for more details.
